Location: Laren, the Netherlands
Internship period: minimum 4 months, maximum 1 year
Type of internship: working internship or graduation internship
Hours per week: 32–40 hours

At Benkey, you will work within an ambitious finance boutique where professional real estate management is central. As a Property Management Intern, you will support the property and asset management team in the day-to-day management of various real estate assets.

You will gain broad insight into property management, work closely with experienced professionals, and be given the opportunity to take responsibility and grow within a rapidly professionalising organisation.

Your role

Your role

As a Property Management Intern, you will support our property and asset management team in the day-to-day operations and management of our real estate portfolio. This internship offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management and to develop insight into processes such as maintenance, tenant communication, and financial reporting.

What you will do:

Daily property management
Support the management of real estate assets, including maintenance, inspections, and tenant communication.

Tenant relations
Register and handle service requests and respond to tenant enquiries.

Administrative support
Maintain lease agreements, process documentation, and prepare reports.

Maintenance & facilities coordination
Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance activities with external parties.

Financial reporting
Support the preparation of insights into costs, budgets, and real estate data.

Process optimisation
Contribute ideas to improve operational processes within property management.

What we are looking for

What we are looking for

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Real Estate, Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field
  • A strong interest in property management and real estate optimisation
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and administratively strong
  • Independent, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a plus
