Benkey acquires office complex at De Hoef business park in Amersfoort.

Benkey takes an important step forward with its real estate fund.

Laren, 17 October 2025 – Benkey Real Estate Fund has acquired a large office complex at the De Hoef business park in Amersfoort. As a result of this acquisition, the fund’s invested assets now exceed €100 million. The property is currently leased to multiple tenants and benefits from a strategic location close to the major A1 and A28 motorways.

A Strategic Choice for Growth and Accessibility

The complex acquired by Benkey, located at Basicweg 16, consists of two buildings with a combined gross floor area of 8,439 square metres. The office building comprises 5,759 square metres spread across four floors and is complemented by a warehouse, storage facilities, and two business units. Built in 1995, the complex holds an Energy Label A rating.

High-quality commercial real estate

Among others, road infrastructure company Swarco and glass repair specialist Carglass are tenants in the property. The average remaining lease term of the rental agreements is three years.

“We are proud to have successfully added this complex to our portfolio of high-quality commercial real estate, thereby reaching another milestone in our growth,” said Niels Rientjes, CEO of Benkey Real Estate Fund. “As reflected by the current occupiers of the complex, its location and combination of office and storage facilities make it highly suitable for organisations seeking to combine support and operational functions. Furthermore, given the freehold land, 208 parking spaces, the functional layout of the complex and its excellent condition, we are confident that this acquisition will sustainably add value to our portfolio.”

“With this acquisition, we are not only strengthening our portfolio with strong tenants, but also adding valuable diversification to our mix of office, warehouse, and storage facilities in a strategic location in the Netherlands.”
