Benkey acquires Yokogawa’s European headquarters in Amersfoort

Multifunctional property with a long-term lease agreement and rental growth potential

Laren, 2 October 2026 – Benkey has acquired the property at Euroweg 2 in Amersfoort for the Benkey Real Estate Fund. The acquisition concerns a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Yokogawa Europe, which will continue to occupy the majority of the building as its European headquarters under a long-term lease agreement.

Multifunctional building at Vathorst Business Park

Completed in 2008, the property comprises 22,594 sqm of lettable floor area. It combines office space with business accommodation for laboratories, assembly activities and storage. The property offers 477 parking spaces, most of which are located beneath the building. The building holds an A++ energy label.

Euroweg 2 is located at Vathorst Business Park, directly adjacent to the A1/A28 motorway interchange. Its accessibility, ample parking facilities and versatile layout make the property suitable for a wide range of business users.

Strategic fit within the fund

With this acquisition, Benkey adds a well-located and multifunctional asset to its portfolio. The long-term lease agreement with Yokogawa provides a solid foundation for rental income. At the same time, the available vacant office space offers opportunities for future leasing activities. This combination aligns with the fund’s strategy of active asset management, risk diversification and sustainable long-term value creation.

The building currently offers approximately 5,800 sqm of available office space, including associated parking facilities. Benkey sees clear opportunities to further develop the property into a multi-tenant office location, with Yokogawa as the established anchor occupier.

“With this transaction, we combine the long-term security of a strong tenant with attractive leasing potential. The quality and location of the building provide a solid foundation for future value creation.”
