Benkey acquires Schutterspoort office building in Leiden

Stable multi-tenant office asset in a prime location

Laren, 30 June 2026 – Benkey has acquired the office building Schutterspoort, located at Schipholweg 55–75 in Leiden, including the adjacent parking garage at Anthony Fokkerweg 109–123, on behalf of the Benkey Real Estate Fund.

The office building comprises nine floors with a total of 7,841 m² of lettable floor area and 70 on-site parking spaces. In addition, the adjacent parking garage provides 85 parking spaces and 931 m² of lettable office and storage space. The property is approximately 97% leased to a diversified group of around 20 tenants. The building holds an A+ energy label and a BREEAM-NL In-Use certification (Good), aligning with the growing occupier demand for sustainable office buildings.

Schutterspoort is strategically located within walking distance of Leiden Central Station and the historic city centre. The property forms part of the Schipholweg area vision, a large-scale redevelopment zone in Leiden.

“Schutterspoort is a strong fit with the fund’s growth ambitions. The quality of the building and its location, combined with a stable cash flow generated by a diversified group of solid tenants, make this a highly resilient and future-proof addition to Benkey’s existing portfolio.”
